SInce Elsa Primary School opened in 2010, classes have been conducted with students sitting on mats on the floor. Recently, donations from our kind supporters have facilitated the purchase of eight benches and desks. This will provide seating for forty students, five to each desk.
First, the metal frames were treated with anti corrosive paint by the school principal. Then, he coated the wooden benches & desks with varnish before assembly.
Photos of the students in their new seating can’t be displayed yet as summer vacation does not end till 21st June. However, there is no doubt the students will be thrilled by ther new ‘elevated learning environment’.
